Barton

Barton is a tutoring system for children and teenagers who struggle with spelling, reading and writing due to dyslexia or a learning disability. The system is a multi-sensory, structured and sequential program designed for intensive intervention. We work one -on-one with the student for one hour. Homework: none. You will be called to set the one hour session time once your child is registered.  Barton costs $50 per hour, this class provides 6 sessions.

Boot Camp

Come get sweaty and have fun doing it!  This course will lightly cover health and nutrition.  We will have a personal fitness component-focusing on increasing cardiovascular endurance and strength by playing fitness games, team relay races, circuit training and more!  All fitness and age levels welcome!

This is an 18 week class, designed for any age level.  It meets Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12:00

Explore The States

Students learn how to read a map and plan a trip as they “travel” the USA.  Come learn what makes each state unique and what food they are best known for.

This is an 18 week class, geared for 3rd to 6th grade students.  It meets Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00

Lapbooks

Lapbooks is a great hands-on, engaging way to learn almost any topic!  Because they are multi-sensory in nature they work well to bring all learning styles together.  This semester we will focus on Literacy, Social Studies and a bit of Science.

This is an 18 week class, designed for Kindergarten to 2nd grade students.  It meets Wednesdays  from 12:00 to 1:00

Writing Club (Grades 3-5)

Let’s Get Writing!  Writing  Club is a place for young aspiring lovers of writing to meet, explore all the aspects of great writing and what it takes to be an author, all while experiencing life with peers who love words too!  We will explore Humor, Mystery and Science Fiction among other genre.

This is an 18 week class, designed for 3rd to 5th grade students.  It meets Wednesdays  from 1:00 to 2:00

Your Turn – My Turn

Come play with us!  We will play math, reading and cooperative games. Students will have an opportunity to focus on creating, building, and executing games of their own.  A culmination of a family game night (for all ages) will be part of this class focus.
