Creative Writing – THIS CLASS IS FULL


We are going to stretch our imaginations! This class is all about learning how to tell an exciting story. We will be reading living books to understand good examples of quality literature. Then learning how to structure a sentence and advancing all the way to writing and illustrating their own books! This class will be filled with lots of popcorn oral narration stories, partner collaboration and silliness. The goal is to make writing fun!

This is an 18 week class, designed for 1st to 4th grade students.  It meets Wednesdays  from 10:00 to 11:00

Financial Literacy


This course teaches all one needs to be financially literate.  The course will focus on the following topics:  Earning, Spending, Saving and Investing, Borrowing, Protecting Assets and Identity.  Students will be asked to create products (i.e. budgets and risk plans) outside of the classroom.  This is a semester-long course and will use resources provided by the FDIC and the University of Arizona.  Students who enroll in this course can earn credit.

This is an 18 week class, geared for 7th-12th grade students.  It meets Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00
