This step-by-step approach is built around a simple graphic organizer that first shows students how to collect ideas and then helps them use those ideas to create clear and polished prose. This method is also great for content area writing.

Beginning Spanish will cover a wide array of basics connected to its language, geography and culture. Students will engage in a variety of musical, kinesthetic, artistic, oral and auditory exercises to bring this language to life! There will be hands-on props, books, songs, videos, map work, art, food, dancing and more!

Join our Co-Op where we strive to support and build community with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) focus. After paying the family membership fee of $75, each student will have a $35 monthly fee for materials and facilities fee. Middle and High School levels meet on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 for fun lessons! As a cooperative, parents are expected to be involved during co-op time. All classes are parent-taught and the program is parent-led. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer in other ways (i.e.: plan field trips, coordinate classes). This will be the first month’s fee.

In this class students will learn the terminology which enables the student to gain a beginning understanding of the theatrical arts. Acting terminology, dramatic theory, and methods of acting are introduced through participatory warm ups, theater games, pair work, structured improvisations and the performance of scripted scenes. Our annual performance will be held in June.

I Survived the Attacks of September 11, 2001 is a book by Lauren Tarshis that’s part of the I Survived series. It’s a historical fiction book that’s intended to teach children about the events of 9/11 in an age-appropriate way.
