In this class students will learn the terminology which enables the student to gain a beginning understanding of the theatrical arts. Acting terminology, dramatic theory, and methods of acting are introduced through participatory warm ups, theater games, pair work, structured improvisations and the performance of scripted scenes. Our annual performance will be held in June.

This is an 18 week class, designed for 4th to 12th grade students. It meets Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00. Semester begins February 3rd.

Have fun creating puppets, performing mini skits, creating with junk, and playing games all the while developing the creative thinking, public speaking, and acting skills. When working in Theater, one needs to learn to think ahead and to be flexible. Team work, eye contact, memorization and other skills are all a part of the arts. Most importantly, this is a class to make friends and to have fun! Students will need to bring small items from home such as a sock for a puppet.    

This is an 18 week class, designed for K to 3rd grade students. It meets Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00. Semester begins February 3rd.

This is an 18 week class, designed for 3rd to 5th grade students. It meets Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00. Semester begins February 3rd.
